A Beach Engagement Full of Laughter, Love & Lots of Sandy Paws

There’s something about a beach session that just makes everything feel easy. This engagement shoot took place on a stunning stretch of coastline in Wicklow, and from the very first moments it was clear this was going to be fun. The light was soft, the sea calm, and there was that lovely mix of excitement and ease that always makes a session flow naturally. No awkward posing, no forced smiles — just two people who genuinely love being around each other (and their very beautiful dog, Honey, who absolutely stole the show more than once).

They slipped into it effortlessly, walking side by side, laughing at private jokes, and stopping for quiet little moments without needing much direction at all. As one of my couples said after their session: “Jules is incredible, full stop. Myself and my fiancé did an engagement shoot including our dog and we had the most incredible experience possible.” I often guide couples to these wild, windswept locations just outside Dublin, giving them that magical backdrop while keeping the session relaxed, fun, and completely natural.
