NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY DUBLIN

Booking a Newborn Photography session with Jules M is an invaluable and stunning documentation of the first days of your newborns life. They are so quick to change and you’ll want to remember those first moments forever. I has been a newborn photographer for many years now. Over the years my style has been fine tuned into capturing beautiful, natural and timeless portraits, documenting your new family in the most authentic way.

I will travel to your home for your Newborn Photography session, we will document beautiful moments and capture every little detail especially those unique quirks and expressions, you just have to sit back, relax, enjoy your coffee, the chats and the whole experience. Whether it is a Newborn Photography session in Dublin or surrounding counties, I will come to you, so that you can enjoy the whole experience in the comfort if your own home.

My approach to newborn photography is with a natural style, no need for complicated poses or props letting your newborn beauty be the focus of the session.

You can be assured that as a highly experienced and qualified Newborn Photographer I will capture your new addition and growing family with exceptional care and skill.

When should I schedule my newborn session?

The best time to schedule your newborn photography session is as early in your pregnancy as you can. Sessions are usually booked a few months in advance. Once you have scheduled you will be sent detailed information with all you need to know and how to further prepare. It is best to schedule your newborn session between 5 – 10 days old. This is to ensure those sleepy poses, the sleepier they are the more shots we get! Because the birth date is not always predictable your due date will be used as a temporary reservation. Once your little bundle arrives, contact Jules M as soon as you can to schedule a set date.

How do I prepare for my newborn’s session?

It is best to try schedule newborn sessions mid morning when they will be sleepier. If at all possible try to keep your newborn stimulated a few hours prior, to ensure a sleepier session, not always easy to do but it will greatly benefit your session, the sleepier your newborn is the more set-ups can be achieved while they peacefully sleep! If you could nurse or feed your baby about 30 minutes prior to your session so they are nice and full too. Remember these sessions can be a little longer so patience is key in order to get the best photographs. Keep in mind, during most of the newborn sessions they will have very little clothes on, so it is usually best if you can have the heating set to about 85° so baby can sleep soundly and comfortably.

What should I expect during the session?

Your newborn photoshoot will usually be between 1-2 hours. This will depend on your baby on the day and depending on time for feeding, changing set-ups, and baby falling back asleep.
